Telangana Minister Talasani Srinivas Yadav today lodged a complaint against Congress leader Digvijaya Singh for dragging his name in the alleged multi-crore Miyapur land scam.
The minister for animal husbandry told reporters that he has lodged a complaint with police against the Congress veteran.
"It (Digvijaya Singh's allegations) will spoil my image. Not only my image, me, my followers, my party and family members were also hurt by the comments made by Digvijaya Singh," he said.
Mahankali police sub-inspector N Ravi said they have received a complaint from the minister.
Yadav in his complaint accused the Congress national general secretary of criminal intimidation and defaming him through his allegations over the Miyapur land case.
"No case has been registered. We are seeking legal opinion on the complaint," the police official told PTI.
