Under the released amount, Rs 1.5 crore would be given per MLA or MLC for taking up development works, according to a Government Order (GO) issued today.
The amount has been released today as per the administrative sanction given by the government for a total amount of Rs three crore per MLA or MLC under the Constituency Development programme.
An amount of Rs 1.5 crore per MLA or MLC was released earlier.
"The government have accorded administrative sanction for a total amount of Rs 300 lakh per MLA/MLC constituency under Constituency Development programme. Out of which an amount of Rs 150 lakhs for MLA/MLC Constituency was already released," the GO said.
