State agriculture minister R Doraikkannu would announce new endowment prizes and medals.
South Asia Biotechnology Centre president Dr C D Mayee would be the chief guest and deliver the convocation address, a TNAU release said.
Besides 1,360 candidates in person, 649 students would be awarded degrees in absentia, the release said.
