The union minister of state for commerce and industry, who led a delegation of officials and business delegates to Bogota on July 6-7, unveiled the bust at Instituto of Caro y Cuervo (Yerbabuena) yesterday, an official statement said here.
Scindia recalled the vision of peace and fraternity brought forth by Tagore through his works, which continue to have relevance and global appeal even today, the statement said.
Instituto Caro y Cuervo is an education centre specialising in Spanish literature, philology and linguistics, oriented to research and promotion of reading habits in the Colombia capital Bogota.
