Take action against those convicted in graft cases, CM orders

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis today asked the Chief Secretary Swadheen Kshstriya to immediately take action against employees who have been convicted by courts in corruption cases and are still in service.
These officials were trapped by the Anti Corruption Bureau (ACB) while taking bribes and subsequently convicted.
"Explanation would be sought from heads of departments who were expected to take action against the guilty persons but did not," a statement from the Chief Minister's office said.
