Attacking the UP government for the poor law and order situation in the state, Senior BJP leader Surya Pratap Shahi today advised Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav to take lessons from Prime minister Narendra Modi in running the government.

"UP Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav needs to take lessons from Prime Minister Modi who has done in three months what no other PM or even a CM managed to do in ten years", Shahi told reporters here.

Elaborating on the problems faced by the state, Shahi who is a former president of party's state unit, said that Rs 6000 crores of sugarcane dues of farmers was still pending and several villages in the state were going without power for eight days continuously.

"Communal frenzy is at its peak, incidents of rape and molestation are taking place daily but the state government is not showing any signs of stirring", he said adding that it seems that the state government is compelling the people of starting a big agitation.
