Asserting that talks and terror cannot go together, Jammu and Kashmir unit of the BJP today said if Pakistan has any intentions to hold talks with India, it has to shun the path of violence.
"The way it backstabbed India after the DGMO levels talks, Pakistan for the moment needs a befitting reply," state BJP vice president Yudhvir Sethi said at a public gathering here.
"Talks and terror cannot go together. If Pakistan has any intentions to hold talks with India, it has to shun the path of violence and restore peace on borders," he said.
Pakistan has been aiding and abetting terrorism and misguiding the youngsters of Kashmir, Sethi said.
"It was end result of Pakistan's failed attempts that Burhan Wani was made to create a terror group which was finally eliminated by valiant soldiers," he said.
"Pakistan stands exposed at the international fora and even its former prime minister recently admitted that the government of India had isolated their nation," Sethi said.
