Tamilisay express displeasure over nabbing killers Sasikumar
Press Trust of India Coimbatore BJP Tamil Nadu unit today Expressed displeasure over the delay in nabbing killers of Hindu Munanni functionary C Sasikumar last month here.
Though it was almost more than 20 days after the murder, there was "no progress" in nabbing the culprits, party state President Tamilisai Soundararajan Tamilisai told reporters here.
Sasikumar was hacked to death by a four-member gang here on September 22 here when he was returning home in Subramaniampalayam, in the outskirts.
The party will appeal to the Union Home Ministry to monitor the situation in the State, where Hindu outfit leaders were killed in the last one year, she said.
A situation should not arise where political rivals were murdered to take revenge, in view of the forthcoming local body elections, she said and appealed to O Paneerselvam, who has taken charge of administration, to give more attention to monitor the law and order situation.
