Tarini shares slump about 5% on 2nd day of trading on BSE SME

Shares of Tarini International today plunged nearly 5 per cent on the BSE, the second day of its trading on the exchange's platform for small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
The Delhi-based firm's shares settled at Rs 39.85 apiece, down by 4.89 per cent from the previous close. The shares of the company had closed at Rs 41.90 apiece on the first day of its listing.
Yesterday, Tarini International had became the 61st company to get listed on the BSE SME Platform.
The company had come out with its IPO on June 13 with an an offering of 39.78 lakh shares of Rs 10 each for cash at a price of Rs 41 per share amounting to Rs 1,630.98 apiece.
So far, the 61 companies listed on BSE SME Platform have raised Rs 533.56 crore from the market and their total market capitalisation stood at Rs 7,500 crore, the exchange said in an statement.
Tarini International is engaged in providing financial and technical consultancy related to Hydro Power Generation, Transmission, Distribution and Infrastructure.
BSE SME platform allows small and medium companies to raise funds and get listed as public entities.
