"We are aiming Rs 3,000-3,500 crore turnover from farm and consumer products segment in the next five years from about Rs 1,000 crore now out of total close to Rs 15,000 crore topline," Tata Chemicals ED & CFO, P K Ghose said here today.
He was in the city to celebrate platinum jubilee of the company at Haldia factory and launch of Tata Swach RO water purifier.
Ghose said farm and consumer product businesses will be growth drivers for the company as chemicals business are facing limited growth due to anti-trust laws in European markets.
Speaking about the capex plan, Ghose said the company had lined up Rs 1700 crore over the next two years both in the domestic and in international facilities.

"We are aiming 5-6 per cent marketshare in Rs 2,600 crore online water purifier market in the next one year with the new launches," said Parag Gadre, Head of company's water purifier business.
He, however, declined to give current market share of the offline storage purifiers through which the company made an entry into the Rs 3,500 crore water purifier market 3-4 years back.
