Tata Green batteries forays into two-wheeler segment
Press Trust of India New Delhi Tata AutoComp GY Batteries has forayed into two-wheeler battery segment in the country with the commissioning of its manufacturing facility at Ranjangaon near Pune.
Batteries, which would be marketed under the brand 'Tata Green Batteries - Velocity Plus', are suitable for most two wheeler brands of motorcycles and scooters, the company said in a statement.
Tata AutoComp GY Batteries is an equal joint venture between Tata AutoComp Systems Ltd and Japan's GS YUASA International.
