Tata Motors flagship showroom launched in Saudi Arabia

The facility in the Saudi capital is said to be one of the largest in the GCC countries

Tata Motors in association with Saudi Arabia-based Manahil International Company has opened one of the Gulf's largest automobile showroom and service facilities in the kingdom's capital.

A unit of Mohamed Yousuf Naghi and Brothers Group (MYNG), Manahil International is the sole authorised distributor of India-based Tata Motors in the kingdom.


The facility in the Saudi capital is said to be one of the largest in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries and a statement of commitment from Tata Motors and Manahil International in expanding their base in the kingdom, a statement released by Tata Motors said.

Established in 1981, GCC is a political and economic alliance of six Middle Eastern countries which include - Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, the UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, and Oman.


Elaborating on the importance of Saudi Arabian market, R T Wasan, head of international business at Tata Motors said: "Saudi Arabia is a focus market for Tata Motors and this is one of the major steps in our strategic expansion plans in the Kingdom to ensure quality sales and aftersales.

"The team is highly skilled and trained by Tata Motors to equip the respective work force with latest methodical approach, systems to ensure efficient and effective solutions to ever evolving customer needs and requirements."

"Today, the automotive sector is very dynamic and prone to progression. Manahil International is planning to expand the network for Tata Motors to cover the entire Kingdom so that we get closer to customer in every location to ensure efficient operation of the vehicles," said Abdul Wahab Itani, senior vice president, automotive division, Manahil International.
