Tata Motors sales down 27%

Tata Motors has reported 26.93% decline in total sales last month at 1,49,597 units, as against 2,04,744 units in July 2013.

The company's domestic sales of commercial and passenger vehicles during the month declined by 23.13% to 39,623 units, as against 51,549 units in July last year.

Passenger vehicles sales were lower by 15.30% at 9,167 units compared with 10,824 units a year ago.

Commercial vehicles sales in the domestic market stood at 26,089 units as against 36,448 units, down 28.42%, the company said in BSE filing.

Its exports in July grew by 2% to 4,367 units compared to 4,277 units in June last year.
