Tata Motors starts pre-bookings for Tigor compact sedan

Tata Motors today said it has commenced pre-bookings for its upcoming compact sedan Tigor with a booking amount of Rs 5,000.
The bookings for the model can be done at all the company's authorised dealerships across the country, Tata Motors said in a statement.
"The Tata Tigor Styleback is a clear and exciting harbinger of future vehicles from Tata Motors. It set to disrupt the passenger car market in India," Tata Motors Passenger Vehicle Business Unit President Mayank Pareek said.
The company has received an overwhelming response for the model in its very first week of preview, he added.
The Tigor will be available in both petrol and diesel variants - Revotron 1.2L (petrol engine) and Revotorq 1.05L diesel engine.
