Its consolidated generation through all subsidiaries stood at 52,512 million units (MUs) in 2016-17 as compared to 47,347 MUs in the previous fiscal.
The company also reported capacity increase by 16 per cent in the financial year 2016-17 as compared to 2015-16 fiscal, Tata Power said in a statement.
The company's COO and ED Ashok Sethi said, "Tata Power has and will continue to serve the nation earnestly and will continue to be part of India's growth story."

The company has an installed generation capacity of 10,613 MW (as of May 2017) as compared to 9,180 MW in 2015-16 fiscal from various fuel sources such as thermal (coal, gas and oil), hydroelectric power, renewable energy (wind and solar PV) and waste heat recovery.
