BSF is using hand held thermal imaging systems and has selected through a global tender, Tata Power SED's Rajak TBC DN-1 multifunction thermal imager after extensive field trials, the company said in a statement.
However, the company did not disclose financial details of the order.

Mobile app for visually challenged launched
Thiruvananthapuram: Amway Opportunity Foundation (AOF), the corporate social responsibility arm of Amway India, has launched a mobile application for the benefit of the visually-challenged persons.

The AOF has taken this initiative in line with the the Central government's Accessible India campaign, which focuses on increasing the availability of Information & technology for differently abled people, it said.
The app was launched on the sidelines of the inauguration of a full-fledged Computer Training Centre at the premises of National Association for the Blind here.

Apollo Hospitals, William Osler sign MoU * Healthcare service provider Apollo Hospitals has signed a memorandum of understanding with William Osler Health System for undertaking joint research and providing patient care.
The two would initiate a pilot project under which it would identify patients and provide them with an option of going to Apollo and Osler hospitals in India or in Canada.

Shares of the company today closed at Rs 102.55 per cent on BSE, up by 6.99 per cent.
