Tata Steel gets Dun and Bradstreet Corporate Award 2015

Tata Steel has been chosen as the top Indian company in the iron and steel sector in the 15th edition of 'Dun and Bradstreet Corporate Awards 2015'.
Kanchinadham Parvatheesam, Company Secretary, Tata Steel received this prestigious award on behalf of Tata Steel on Wednesday, according to a company press release issued today.
On receiving the award, Parvatheesam said, "We are delighted to have won the Dun and Bradstreet Corporate Awards 2015 and are very proud to be recognised as the top Indian company in the iron and steel category," the release said.

RGCB sets eyes on New Horizons; BIC Inauguration on Sunday * The first phase of the Bio-Innovation Centre (BIC), which will be inaugurated tomorrow, will translate the basic advances in biotechnology generated by the Rajiv Gandhi Centre for Biotechnology (RGCB) into innovative new tools and products.
Union Minister for Science and Technology Harsh Vardhan will dedicate the BIC to the nation at a function, to be held at the KINFRA Film and Video Park, Kazhakootam, near here.

NLC gets BT Star PSU award for CSR
* Public sector Neyveli Lignite Corporation has bagged the BT Star PSU for Excellence Award in Corporate Social Responsibility.
NLC Chairman and Managing Director, B Surender Mohan received the award from Union Minister of State for Human Resource Development, Ram Shankar Katheria at a function held in New Delhi yesterday, the company said in a statement today.
For taking up the CSR projects, NLC had allocated Rs 14.26 crore, Rs 26.81 crore and Rs 41.42 crore during the last three years respectively, it said.
NLC had taken up construction of 2,500 toilets in Tamil Nadu and two districts in Rajasthan at an outlay of Rs 52.5 crore, it added.
