The country's top ranked archer was selected on the basis of her outstanding performance at the international arena.
The 19-year-old Deepika, also a Tata Steel employee, had won silver in four stages of last edition of the World Cup and also won gold in the Asian Championship at Chinese Taipei in November last.
Tata Steel Managing Director T V Narendran handed over the trophy to Tata Archery Academy coach Purnima Mahato in the absence of Deepika, who was attending a camp in Pune.
