Taxi driver stabbed to death by employer over salary demand

A taxi driver was stabbed to death allegedly by his employer and two others in Faridabad district when the former demanded his monthly income, police said today.
According to a complaint filed by the brother of the deceased Mahesh alias Ajay, taxi owner Sonu Grover, his brother Lovely Grover and one Sibby allegedly stabbed Mahesh to death when he demanded his remuneration, police said.
The complainant alleged a few days ago Mahesh got into a heated argument over salary issue with Sonu, Lovely and Sibby on the taxi stand, following which the trio returned last evening and stabbed Mahesh several times, leaving him severely injured.
The victim's brother Bobby and his friend Rajesh rushed Mahesh to a local hospital where he was declared dead.
The accused are absconding and police have lodged an FIR for murder in this connection, they said, adding further investigations are underway.
