Sources say Andrea Swift has given the 18-year-old singing heartthrob her seal of approval, reported Showbizspy.
"Taylor convinced her mom that Harry was different. Even though he's young, she says he understands the business better than anyone she's dated in the past," said a source.
Swift, 22, has previously dated musicians John Mayer and Joe Jonas, actors Jake Gyllenhaal and Taylor Lautner, and most recently, Conor Kennedy
