Taylor Swift's treatment of Calvin Harris was 'brutal': Newman

Singer John Newman, who is a good friend of Calvin Harris, says Taylor Swift's behaviour towards the DJ was "brutal".
The 26-year-old singer said he does not know the "Blank Space" hitmaker well but whatever she did with Harris, 32, was wrong, reported Female First.
"From her side? Yeah, it did get brutal. I'm like Calvin, happy to take a back seat. I like my music to do the talking.
"When I tweeted that, there was a text almost immediately from Calvin. He was like, 'Down. Now'. And then it all came out anyway. No I'm not (friendly with Taylor any more), I don't agree with what's gone on... But I shouldn't comment further. I wouldn't know her well enough, weirdly. She's in another world," he said.

Swift, 26, ended her romance with Harris earlier this year. Their split turned messy when Newman tweeted congrats on "This What You Came For" success to Harris, Rihanna and Swift before deleting and reposting the message without mention of Swift.
