TBZ ties-up with Snapdeal for online sale of jewellery

Jewellery firm Tribhovandas Bhimji Zaveri (TBZ) today said the company has entered into an agreement with e-commerce firm Snapdeal to sell its diamond jewellery and gold coins through the latter's online platform.
Diamond jewellery range of rings, earrings, pendants, bracelets and gold coins will be available and accessible to discerning buyers on Snapdeal at affordable price, TBZ said in a regulatory filing.
"The company has tied up with Snapdeal, India's leading online marketplace, to offer consumers with TBZ - The Original's diamond jewellery and gold coins on Snapdeal's online marketplace," it added.
TBZ shares soared nearly 10 per cent following the announcement.

The scrip climbed 9.59 per cent to settle at Rs 134.80 apiece on BSE. Intra-day, it surged 17 per cent to Rs 144.
On NSE, it zoomed 9.33 per cent to close at Rs 134.75.
The company has 21 stores across the country.
