Several ruling TDP members in the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly today sought strict disciplinary action against opposition YSR Congress member R K Roja, who has been suspended for one year, for her allegedly unparliamentary comments and behaviour in the House.
TDP MLA V Anita, who took up the issue during Zero Hour, broke down while making her point that Roja had insulted her.
"Roja's comments were abusive. I felt hurt...I have two children. I don't know what to tell them. You (Speaker) have to tell me what justice you will do to me," she said.
Anita said she is a Dalit woman and came up the hard way in life, she said.
State Minister for Mines Peethala Sujata alleged that earlier, Roja had abused her too.
Another TDP woman member Yamini Bala said the YSRCP member should be handed out a strict punishment by the Speaker like expulsion.
