Teacher arrested in a sodomy case

A 48-year-old teacher was arrested today for allegedly repeatedly sodomising a Class 12th student for over one year in Ajmeri Gate area of Central Delhi here.
The accused identified as Mohammad Bilal, who worked with a government-aided school -- one of the oldest school in the city, was arrested following a complaint by the student's father in Kamla Nagar police station, a senior police official said.
"Boy had alleged in complaint that when he was at a classroom, accused came there and allegedly sodomised him around 12.30 PM yesterday. Later, he informed his father about the incident," said the official.

Victim also alleged that the accused teacher had been allegedly sodomising him for around one year after threatening him that he would fail him in the subject, if he resisted his attempt, police said.
