Teachers of varsities go on indefinite dharna

The teachers of Haryana Agricultural University (HAU) and Lala Lajpat Rai University of Veterinary and Animal Sciences (LLRUVAS) here went on an indefinite dharna today demanding implementation of the sixth pay commission report.
The agitating teachers held a demonstration here and raised slogans against the Haryana government.
Talking about their stir, Raj Singh, president of the HAU Teachers' Association, said that the demands raised by the union were yet to be fulfilled despite assurances by the state government.
