A young software engineer allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling fan at his home in West Delhi's Aman Vihar area here this afternoon, police said.
The deceased, identified as Neeraj Kumar (26), worked at a private company in Hyderabad and had come home around 20 days ago.
"He was found hanging by a family member in his house after which they called police. We have not found any suicide note from the spot," said a police official.
His family members said he was to get married next month. The reason behind the extreme step is not known. We are investigating the case, police said.
