Teenage girl abducted, gangraped in UP's Meerut

A 15-year-old girl was allegedly abducted and raped by two youths near the Partapur bypass of the district, police said today.
The girl, who was allegedly raped late last night, was found in an unconscious state near the Juranpur railway crossing by villagers, police said.
Later the victim, who works in a carton factory, told police that she was drugged by the three-wheeler-borne youths who took her from Noornagar railway crossing to the bypass and raped her, Superintendent of Police (City) Omprakash said.
The girl charged that the accused thrashed her while she resisted, the SP said, adding that they took away her mobile phone as well.

The girl has been sent for a medical examination and police is on the lookout for the accused youths.
