Gitesh Murgaonkar (18) and Nishita Bhomkar (15) were found hanging from a mango tree this morning, Old Goa Police inspector Krishna Sinari told PTI.
Their family members said the two were in love, but could not throw light on what could have led to the suicide, he said.
Gitesh studied in eleventh standard at a college in Khandola while the girl was a ninth standard student of a school in Khorlim village.
