Teenaged girl objects to eve-teasing, set ablaze

A teenaged girl was allegedly set ablaze by three youths after she objected to eve-teasing in Uttar Pradesh's Pilibhit district, police said here today.
The incident took place last night at Mohammad Beni Chowdhury area when the 17-year-old girl resisted the eve-teasing by three youths - Munna, Adnan and Amar, after which they poured kerosene on her and set her on fire, police said.
The girl was rushed to a local hospital where her condition is stated to be stable, they said, adding that no arrest has been made so far in the incident.
