Teenager crushed to death by school bus

A teenager was today crushed to death by a school bus near Ghalichowk village in Deoria district, police said.
Mohan Nishad (14) was hit by the bus which belonged to a BJP MLA from Barhaj assembly constituency Suresh Tiwari.
"Today at around 7.30 am, Mohan Nishad (14), a resident of Bhalichaur village was going to a shop, when he was hit by a school bus of BJP MLA. The teenager died on the spot," an official statement released by the UP Police said.
Following the incident, local residents blocked the road and beat up the bus driver Raghubar Pal who was later admitted to a nearby hospital.

"They damaged the bus and beat up the bus driver Raghubar Pal, who was admitted in a hospital for treatment. The angry residents also blocked the road. They were later pacified by the police," the statement said.
