today allegedly by a teenager whose brother was beaten up by the victim earlier, police said.
The incident took place at Madangir this evening and the injured has been identified as Vijay Khadi who has criminal cases against him.
The victim had beaten up the brother of the attacker and he allegedly attacked Khadi.
"The teenager fired over half a dozen bullets. He then fled from the spot. Khadi collapsed on the ground. He was rushed to Batra Hospital for treatment. He is undergoing treatment," police said.
A case in connection with the incident was lodged with Ambedkar Nagar police station.
