Teenager raped by man for six years

A teenage girl was allegedly raped by a 25-year-old man from Dombivali here for six years, police said today.
The accused, Sameer Sunil Nagpure, working in a call centre at Vashi was arrested late last night following a complaint from the victim yesterday, API Rohini Sonar of Dombivili police station told PTI.
According to the 17-year-old girl, Nagpure circulated the pictures he had taken with her and threatened to defame her by posting them on Facebook and kill her parents if she resisted his advances.
In the first instance, he called her to his house under the pretext of returning her pictures and when she arrived, he locked her inside and sexually abused her before bashing her up and forcing her to consume alcohol, the complaint said.

The girl said that out of fear, she gave in to Nagpure's repeated threats following which he used take advantage of her by visiting her when she was alone at home since 2007 till last year.
Police have charged the accused under sections 376, 323, 504 and 506 of the IPC and also section 4 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act, 2012.
