A case has been registered and police have launched a manhunt to nab the accused, whom they refused to identify.
"The incident took place on Monday evening when the neighbour took the girl to Anand Vihar for some work. After completing the work, he took her to Harsh Vihar on some pretext where he raped her," a police official said.
The accused then threatened her of dire consequences if she reported the incident and fled from the spot, he said.
An FIR was registered in this regard after the medical examination of the girl confirmed rape, police said.
