The maximum temperatures were above normal at one or two places in the state in the last 24 hours.
The highest maximum temperature of 46 degrees Celsius was recorded in Adilabad yesterday, the IMD said in its daily weather report of Telangana.
Burgampadu and Bhadrachalam (both in Khammam district) received four cms of rainfall, followed by Vikarabad (2 cms) in Ranga Reddy district in the last 24 hours, it said.
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers are likely to occur at isolated places over Telangana, the IMD said in its weather forecast till tomorrow morning.
Thunderstorm accompanied with gusty winds is likely to occur at isolated places in all districts of the state in next 24 hours, it added.
