Tel legislature session likely to be stormy

Telangana legislature session beginning here tomorrow is likely to be stormy as the opposition has geared itself to put the TRS government on mat on a range of issues from implementation of a farm loan waiver to alleged irregularities in land registrations.
The main opposition Congress has called for a 'Chalo Assembly' tomorrow to highlight the problems of farmers.
The implementation of farm loan waiver promise by the TRS government in phases, instead of doing so at one go, did not help the farmers, Congress has alleged.
The TRS government has also failed in ensuring remunerative price for farmers and in providing relief to farmers who suffered crop damages due to heavy rains, the party has alleged.

The 'Chalo Assembly' is a peaceful and democratic protest to highlight the farmers' plight, state Congress president N Uttam Kumar Reddy said yesterday.
BJP floor leader in the Legislative Assembly G Kishan Reddy urged the Speaker in a letter to take up farmers' problems, the civic issues in Hyderabad like damaged roads and traffic woes, alleged corruption in land survey, the spread of "land mafia, sand mafia" in the state and atrocities on Dalits in Sircilla district for debate.

TDP MLA S Venkata Veeraiah said his party has identified about 25 issues for raising them in the assembly.
The MLAs of TDP and its NDA ally BJP held a meeting here today and decided to have floor coordination during the session.

The TRS government has said it is ready for debate on any issue and that it wants the people to know about its good work.
