Tel power utility official trapped for accepting Rs 80 k bribe

A superintending engineer working in the Telangana Southern Power Distribution Company was trapped by the ACB here today while he was allegedly accepting Rs 80,000 in ibribe for extending an official favour.
Shivaji Rathod was caught by ACB officials while he was accepting the bribe amount from a complainant for doing an official favour, the agency stated in a release.
"The bribe amount has been recovered from him and he will be arrested," it said.
