Telangana CM allocates Rs 100 crore to develop temple

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao has allocated Rs 100 crore to develop the Vemulawada temple, he announced here today.
Rao arrived at Vemulawada at about 1 pm alongwith his family members and was welcomed by Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) leaders.
He prayed at the Sri Raja Rajeshwara Swamy Devasthanam for more than an hour.
Speaking to reporters this evening at the temple premises in Vemulawada, he said that more funds will be allocated for the purpose.
A special authority will be constituted to develop the temple at Vemulawada and necessary steps will be taken during the next cabinet meeting, he said.
He said that four-lane roads will be constructed between Sircilla and Vemulawada, assuring that adequate compensation would be paid to those whose lands are acquired.
