Srihari requested the Union minister to help in expediting the early clearances of budget allocations pertaining to 'Sarva Sikha Abhiyan' and other schemes from the ministry of HRD, an official release said.
They discussed Telangana chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao's letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi regarding allocation of power and coal to Telangana, it said.
Dattatreya, who is MP from Secunderbad, assured the deputy chief minister that he would meet Piyush Goyal, Union minister for Power, at the earliest and initiate steps for the same.
Dattatreya said the villages hold importance as Sannur village has a famous temple, Annaram Sheriff a famous dargah and Kolanpak a famous Jain temple.
Noting that tourism is related to development, Dattatreya requested Srihari to instruct the state and district authorities to oversee the allocation of basic infrastructure, roads and buildings, water resources and education to the places.
