The telephone number 040-23454071, announced by Rao during his visit to Warangal yesterday, received 2,534 calls until today evening, a release issued by his office said.
The number has thirty lines at present, but they are inadequate and another thirty lines would be added to it, the release said.
The government would provide SMS facility to the same number and would also try to set up an e-mail ID for people to send their complaints, the release said.
Meanwhile, Rao held a review of his four-day Warangal visit today and sought expeditious completion of housing projects for poor people.
He also asked Warangal Municipal Commissioner Sarfaraz Ahmed to review the proposed textile park works in the city, another release said.
