Telangana Govt asks civic bodies to be alert in view of rains

Telangana Minister K T Rama Rao today directed officials of municipal bodies to be on alert in the wake of heavy rains lashing the State for the last several days.
The Municipal Administration Minister asked the officials to be prepared to deal with the situation arising out of heavy rains and the possible occurrence of health issues there after, an official release said.
He said accountability would be fixed in prevention of loss of human life and other aspects of municipal administration, the release added.
