Telangana may receive rains, thundershowers in next 5 days

Telangana likely to receive light-to-moderate rains or thundershowers at some places in the next five days, a bulletin issued by the India Meteorological Department today said.
"Thunderstorm accompanied with squall/hail is very likely to occur at isolated places in the districts of Adilabad, Nizamabad, Karimnagar, Warangal, Khammam, Medak, Rangareddy, Hyderabad, Mahbubnagar and Nalgonda districts of Telangana," the bulletin said.
There was an "appreciable" fall in maximum temperatures at one or two places in Telangana, the weatherman said, adding they were above normal at a few places in the state.
The highest maximum temperature of 44 degree Celsius was recorded at Hanamakonda, it further said.
