"I will not campaign for any party," Nagarjuna said after meeting Modi. He also denied that he had come to seek election tickets for him or his wife, saying that he will not enter politics.
However, it seems that the actor, who has also starred in several Bolloywood movies, was impressed by the Gujarat Chief Minister and endorsed his candidature for Prime Ministership.
"All stories in the media about our seeking election tickets is baseless. I have not sought and will not seek tickets for me or my wife," he told reporters after meeting Modi in Gandhinagar.
"Had a wonderful meeting with noted actor Nagarjuna. He has a keen interest in rural development and related issues," Modi tweeted after meeting the actor.
