The Safdarjung observatory, whose recording is considered official for the city, recorded 20.8 mm rainfall in the last 24 hours till 5.30 PM while areas under Lodhi Road, Ridge and Aayangar observatories recorded 24.9, 20.8 and 1.4 mm rainfall respectively during the same period.
Palam did not record any rainfall during the period, a Met department official said.
The maximum temperature settled at 33.8 degrees Celsius, five notches below the season's average while the minimum temperature settled at 25.5 degrees, three notches below normal.
The MeT office has predicted overcast conditions with a possibility of thundery development.
"The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 35 and 25 degrees Celsius," the weatherman said.
Yesterday, the minimum temperature was recorded at 23.2 degrees Celsius while the maximum settled at 32.2 degrees Celsius.
