Temperature dips in north Raj, Bikaner coldest at 1.2 deg C

Cold wave intensified in northern parts of Rajasthan with Bikaner recording the lowest night temperature of 1.2 degrees Celsius, while 17 trains were delayed due to dense fog.
While the minimum temperature in Churu and Sriganganagar was 3.1 degrees Celsius and 3.8 degrees Celsius respectively, Tonk, Sikar, Jaisalmer and Jaipur registered a low of 5.3 degrees Celsius, 5.5 degrees Celsius, 6.6 degrees Celsius and 7 degrees Celsius respectively, the MeT department said.
As many as 17 trains of North Western Railways including Khajuraho-Udaipur, Delhi-Jaisalmer, Howrah-Jodhpur Express, were delayed due to fog in the northern parts of the state, an NWR spokesperson said.
