Temperatures down in Delhi, rains likely: Met

With a drop in temperatures, people got respite from the hot weather sweeping the national capital for the past few days as the weatherman predicted rains in the city.
The maximum temperature settled at 40 degrees Celsius, two notches below normal, and the minimum was 30.6 degrees Celsius, three notches above normal, Met department said.
Yesterday the maximum temperature was recorded at 41.7 degrees Celsius while the minimum was 32.7 degrees Celsius.
Humidity levels were recorded between 66 and 41 per cent till 2.30 pm.
The MeT department predicted possibility of light rain and thunderstorm in some areas of the city for the rest of the day.
