Ambala (35.8 C) received light showers while Rohtak (34.3 C) and Narnaul (33.2 C) recorded above normal maximums.
Karnal's high settled at 33.2 deg C. Patiala recorded a high of 35.5 deg C, up five notches despite 21 mm of rainfall.
Amritsar recorded a high of 35 deg C, up two degrees while Ludhiana's maximum settled at 35.3 deg C.
