The weather mainly remained dry in Himachal Pradesh with both the minimum and maximum temperatures being recorded a few notches above the normal, the meteorological department said on Thursday.
While the minimum temperatures were 3-4 degrees above the normal, the maximums were 2-3 notches more than the season's average.
Keylong in Lahaul and Spiti district continued to be the coldest place in the state at minus 4.4 degrees Celsius while the minimum in Kalpa was minus 1.6 degrees Celsius.
Manali recorded a low of 2.8 degrees Celsius, followed by Kufri 3.2 degrees Celsius, Dalhousie 3.6 degrees Celsius and Shimla 7.7 degrees Celsius, a weather department official said.
Una registered the highest maximum temperature in the state at 28 degrees Celsius.
The weatherman has predicted rain and snowfall in Himachal Pradesh over the next few days. Snowfall, rain may occur at some places in the middle, high hills till February 25, whereas rain, thunderstorm may take place in several places in plains, low hills of the state on February 21.
