Temperatures rise in Rajasthan

After brief respite from scorching conditions, heat rose in many parts of Rajasthan with Jodhpur recording the hottest place with a maximum temperature of 41.1 degrees Celsius today.
Kota, Churu, Jaipur registered maximum temperatures at 41, 40.8 and 40 degrees Celsius respectively while Jaisalmer, Bikaner, Sriganganagar and Pilani recorded maximums of 39.2, 39, 38.4 and 38.2 degrees Celsius respectively, according to Met department here.
The weather remained mainly dry in the desert state during the last 24 hours.
The temperature would rise in the state during next 24 hours.
