Kandhamal remained the coldest district in the state, though the temperature at Daringibadi rose by one notch from yesterday's six degrees Celsius, the MeT department here said.
In the district headquarter town of Phulbani too mercury moved up to 8.6 degrees Celsius compared to yesterday's 7 degrees Celsius, it said.
The minimum temperature stood below 10 degrees Celsius in at least six places, the Met office said, adding both Angul and Jharsuguda recorded a low of 10 degrees Celsius.
Bhubaneswar recorded minimum temperature of 15.1 degrees Celsius, marginally lower than 15.4 degrees Celsius recorded yesterday, it said.
