Places in Udaipur, Jaipur, Bharatpur, Jodhpur and Bikaner divisions received rains, it said.
Alwar district's Tizara recorded 6 cm and Kotkasim 4 cm, Udaipur district's Salumber 3 cm and Sarara 2 cm, Jaipur district's Amer 3 cm, and Pratapgarh district's Dhariabad and Bharatpur district's Nagar 2 cm each, the department said.
Other places recorded 1 cm rainfall in the last 24 hours. Churu recorded 20 mm rainfall, Kota 10 mm and Pilani 1.9 mm, it said.
Meanwhile, temperatures dropped by a few degrees due to the rains.
The MeT department has predicted rain or thunderstorm with rain very likely to occur at many places in east Rajasthan and at a few places in the state's western parts.
Heavy rainfall is very likely to occur at isolated places in east Rajasthan during the next 24 hours, it said.
